We strive to be the company of choice for our employees, clients, and stakeholders and have earned dozens of awards for project excellence, safety performance, and as the best place to work.An experienced Motor Grader Operator for our Hampstead, NC area project who can safely operate equipment.ResponsibilitiesPerform documented pre-shift 360 walk-around inspection of the equipment.Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate such stated equipment.Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, and material.Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.Must perform daily maintenance and housekeeping including inspection, checking fluid levels, greasing and cleaning.Follow safety policies and proceduresPerforms other job-related duties as required or assignedOperate other equipment as neededQualificationsMust have a minimum of 4 years of experience operating Motor GraderMust have experience with total station or Trimble UTSMust have experience with finish / fine grade workOperate self-propelled grader to spread and level dirt, gravel, and stone, to grade specifications and maintenance of roads.Shape and finish shoulders and slopes.Experience with basic tools and be mechanically inclinedCapable of lifting 50 lbs.A thorough knowledge about safety precautions while workingWork requires exposure to construction site environments having extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke, hazardous substances, and loud noise levelsAbility to work independently and complete daily activities according to work scheduleAbility to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistencyProvide personal transportation to and from the jobsiteWillingness to learn and adapt to changeCompetitive WagesBenefit packageGrowth OpportunitiesConti is an equal-opportunity employer.
