A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 150-bed community hospital serving the Lewiston, ID area. This 13-week assignment requires a motivated pharmacist to support hospital pharmacy operations with a flexible schedule focused on 8-hour shifts, primarily day and afternoon hours. There is potential consideration for a 7-on 7-off 10-hour shift arrangement, though 8-hour shifts are preferred.

Responsibilities include verifying medication orders, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians on medication therapies, and applying pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient care. The role requires adaptability and strong clinical judgment in a hospital setting.

Ideal candidates will hold an Idaho pharmacist license or demonstrate the ability and willingness to obtain licensure quickly. Previous hospital pharmacy experience is essential. A positive, can-do attitude combined with excellent communication and teamwork skills will ensure success in this fast-paced environment.
