A Travel Retail Pharmacist position is available in Republic, WA, offering an engaging opportunity to work within a hospital setting. This role requires someone with strong retail pharmacy skills who can deliver excellent patient care and effective pharmacy operations.
Location: Republic, WA
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Typically 4 days per week, approximately 36 hours total, with flexible scheduling
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately checking, filling, and verifying prescriptions
- Counseling patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications
- Consulting with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication plans
- Providing oversight and guidance to pharmacy support staff to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
Qualifications:
- Active Washington State Pharmacist license
- Previous retail pharmacy experience
- Strong communication and patient counseling skills
- Ability to travel and adapt to new work environments
