We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team in Jupiter, Florida. This position will support daily prescription fulfillment, medication preparation, inventory management, and pharmacy operations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation, packaging, labeling, and dispensing of prescription medications.

• Accurately process prescription orders and enter data into pharmacy management systems.

• Perform medication counting, packaging, labeling, and shipment preparation.

• Maintain inventory levels, stock shelves, rotate inventory, and remove expired products.

• Receive and verify incoming medication and supply shipments.

• Support quality assurance and pharmacy compliance initiatives.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.

• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and internal team members regarding prescription status and basic pharmacy inquiries.

• Resolve routine medication order issues and escalate clinical concerns to pharmacists.

• Ensure pharmacy work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with company procedures.

• Assist with operational projects, process improvements, and workflow optimization efforts as the pharmacy grows.

• Adhere to all HIPAA, patient confidentiality, and pharmacy regulatory requirements.

Essential Skills

• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician Registration.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail, mail-order, specialty, or closed-door pharmacy environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Basic computer proficiency and experience with pharmacy software systems.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• National Certification (CPhT) preferred.

• Experience in high-volume prescription fulfillment environments.

• Knowledge of pharmacy workflow, inventory management, and medication dispensing processes.

• Experience supporting shipping, mail-order, or telehealth pharmacy operations.

• Familiarity with USP regulations and pharmacy quality standards.

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Work Environment

The role is 100% onsite in a closed-door pharmacy fulfillment environment. You will work as an individual producer within a team setting. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jupiter, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
