RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio approximately 1:6 (estimated, never guaranteed)
• Work on Neuro Trauma unit (10th floor, Building 4)
• 36-bed unit with 70 total staff members
• Night shift staffing includes 7 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs
• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital telemetry experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH certification preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Experience traveling to large trauma facilities preferred
• Work with Kangaroo Pumps and Meditech/CPN EMR system
• Perform typical procedures including medication drips, bubble studies, and EEG
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, engagement, and flexibility
• Patient care experience is a priority
