About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Assembly Technicians for a leading boat manufacturing company in Big Lake, MN. In this hands-on role, youll help build high quality components while working in a fast-paced production environment that values teamwork, integrity, and growth. If you enjoy using hand tools, staying active throughout your shift, and working with a collaborative team, this could be a great fit for you!
What Youll Do as an Assembly Technician:
- Assemble vehicle parts, sub-systems, and components
- Prepare materials and build-up parts according to specifications
- Perform inspections and quality checks throughout production
- Operate power tools, hoists, and various production equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
What You Need to Bring to the Assembly Technician Role:
- Must have at least 6+ months of experience within past year
- Must be able to read and interpret a tape measure
- Must have experience using power and hand tools
- Must be able to follow written blueprint instructions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Must be able to bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, and reach overhead
- Must be able to stand/walk up to 8 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must have history of good attendance
