Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Administrative Assistant with Accounts Payable experience for a local manufacturing company in Folsom. This position supports daily administrative operations, invoice entry, purchasing, and front-office responsibilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with Microsoft Office, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Administrative Assistant with Accounts Payable experience for a local manufacturing company in Folsom. This position supports daily administrative operations, invoice entry, purchasing, and front-office responsibilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with Microsoft Office, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain invoice information in internal systems, including vendor details and item descriptions.
- Enter purchase orders (POs) into the system and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with office supply ordering and inventory management.
- Answer incoming calls, greet visitors, and assist with front-office reception duties.
- Receive and coordinate incoming deliveries.
- Provide general administrative support to 2–3 team members.
- Maintain organized records and ensure accuracy when entering information.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed.
- Previous Accounts Payable (AP) experience is required.
- Manufacturing industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with invoice entry, purchase orders, or purchasing administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn internal software systems.
- Strong attention to detail, data-entry accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Professional communication skills and comfort handling phone calls and visitors.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a small team.
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
- Overtime is not typical but may occasionally be required during accounting close periods.
- Approximately 30% of the role involves reception and front-office support, particularly during the early morning.
- Immediate availability is preferred, with an anticipated start within 1–2 days of selection.
- Competitive pay at $28.00 per hour.
