Job Description
Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Schedule

3-12 hour night shifts with occasional extra on-call shifts.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Must be currently licensed to practice as an R.N.
• Two years of relevant experience in critical care nursing preferred.
• Telemetry experience preferred.
• BLS required upon hire.
• ACLS required within 3 months.
• PALS or ENPC required within 6 months if the traveler stays for 6 months.
• TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support in the critical care environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Ensure compliance with best practices and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records and document all aspects of patient care.
