Senior Accountant - Hybrid

DescriptionKforce's publicly traded entertainment company in NYC is seeking a Senior Accountant. The role will be 4 days in the office and 1 day work from home during non-close and 4 days work from home the week of the month end close. This company offers opportunity to advance along with great benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, and 401K + employer matching and a week off during the week of Christmas to New Years and a discretionary year-end bonus.Responsibilities Include:* Assist with monthly close, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and management reporting* Analyze actual results and prepare monthly and quarterly financial statement variance analyses versus Forecast, Budget and Prior Year* Liaise regularly with international Finance Directors on various accounting, reporting and/or planning matters* Assist in the preparation of various analytical reports and presentations for use by upper Management* Maintain corporate accounting policies and procedures manual* Assist in the development and maintenance of internal controls over the corporate accounting function* Assist in complying with requests from third-parties such as independent auditors and internal tax, legal and SOX departments* Other special projectsRequirements* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting* 2-3 years of national public accounting experience (in auditing or due diligence) and a CPA or at least 2 parts passed of the CPA* Strong working knowledge of Excel* Experience with consolidation and financial reporting systems, particularly SAP BPC and/or OneStream is a plusJob TypeDirect HireCompensation100000 - $115000
