Maintains a commitment to professional growth and development./ph3Essential Functions and Responsibilities:/h3ulliSupports the mission and vision of McLaren Port Huron through behaviors that reflect and integrate our values, as evidenced by observation, peer and customer feedback./liliProvides technical first assistance to the primary surgeon throughout the perioperative period./liliFacilitates the application of the nursing process in all facets of the RN First Assistant Role./liliEstablishes and maintains a safe perioperative environment./liliParticipates in a minimum of fifty (50%) of monthly departmental meetings./liliContributes to the effective communication and efficient operation needs of unit./liliMaintains commitment to professional growth and development./liliPerforms other related duties as required and directed./li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3pRequired:/pulliGraduate of an accredited school of nursing/liliTwo (2) years of perioperative nursing/liliCurrent RN license in the State of Michigan/liliCNOR/liliOpen Heart experience with Vein harvesting/liliCompletion of an RNFA course/liliBLS certification and/or Canadian equivalent/li/ulpPreferred:/pulliBachelors in Nursing (BSN)/liliCRNFA/liliACLS is preferred/li/ulpAdditional Information/pulliSchedule: Full-time/liliDaily Work Times: varied/liliHours Per Pay Period: 80/liliOn Call: Yes/liliWeekends: Yes/li/ul/div
