Influencer Marketing Associate

Job Title: Influencer Marketing Associate Type: Part Time Location: Our office is located in the Arts District in Los Angeles. Job Overview: The Influencer Marketing Associate will support the development and execution of influencer marketing campaigns across a variety of lifestyle and automotive brands. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, culturally curious, digitally savvy, and passionate about the evolving creator economy. Working closely with the Account Manager and Influencer/PR Manager, the Influencer Marketing Associate will assist with influencer sourcing, including research and vetting, product mailers, content tracking, reporting, and client deliverables. The ideal candidate understands what makes creator content feel authentic, has a strong eye for emerging talent and trends, and can balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment. We are seeking a candidate who can join the team in the near term and is available to start as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities: Influencer Identification Research and identify relevant influencers and content creators across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging social platforms. Use industry benchmarks, audience insights, engagement metrics, and analytics tools to identify, vet, and recommend creators based on campaign objectives. Evaluate influencer audiences for brand fit, demographics, engagement quality, content style, brand affinity, and potential risks. Maintain and organize influencer databases, contact information, campaign folders, rates, and performance metrics. Stay current on emerging creators, social trends, cultural moments, and platform developments to help identify new partnership opportunities. Campaign Coordination: Assist in developing influencer content briefs, campaign timelines, talking points, and deliverable trackers. Monitor campaign progress and proactively flag potential issues, missed deadlines, or changes in creator participation. Support influencer coordination and attendance for events, activations, product launches, and experiential opportunities when applicable. Assist with influencer check-in, onsite coordination, content capture opportunities, and post-event follow-up. Assist with influencer seeding lists, product inventory and allocation, shipping information, tracking, and fulfillment. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure products and campaign materials are delivered accurately and on time. Help develop creative ideas for mailers and gifting moments that encourage organic social content and meaningful creator experiences. Data Tracking & Reporting: Monitor campaign performance metrics including reach, impressions, engagement, views, clicks, conversions, and other relevant KPIs. Track influencer content, deliverables, live dates, performance, and campaign status using spreadsheets and influencer CRM platforms. Assist in compiling campaign reports and recaps for internal teams and clients. Work closely with the Account Manager and Influencer/PR Manager to ensure campaign alignment. Assist with client-facing materials including influencer recommendations, campaign updates, reporting, presentations, and recaps. Participate in internal meetings and contribute ideas and recommendations related to creators, content, and social trends. Stay up-to-date with influencer marketing trends and best practices to continuously enhance campaign performance. Requirements: 1–2 years of experience in influencer marketing, social media, public relations, talent management, or a related field. Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Understanding of influencer selection criteria, audience insights, engagement metrics, and campaign measurement. Experience researching and vetting influencers and creators. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously. Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking initiative and ownership in a fast-paced agency environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to commute to and from The ID Agency's Los Angeles office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Weekend availability at times required for client onsite activations and campaign tracking. Preferred Qualifications: Previous agency experience preferred, including internship or entry-level agency experience. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field. Experience with influencer CRM or campaign management platforms such as Klear, Creator.co, CreatorIQ, or similar tools preferred. Experience working with lifestyle brands in healthcare, hospitality and direct to consumer. Experience working within the automotive industry is a plus. Experience supporting influencer events, experiential activations, product launches, or creator trips is a plus.
