We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented video editor to help shape engaging YouTube content for a fast-growing digital platform serving creators, entrepreneurs, and educators.
This role focuses on transforming raw footage into compelling stories that educate, inspire, and retain audiences.
You will collaborate closely with creative strategists, producers, and content teams to develop high-quality videos optimized for viewer engagement.
The ideal candidate combines strong editing expertise with a deep understanding of YouTube storytelling, pacing, and audience behavior.
You will play a key role in expanding a growing content presence by experimenting with formats, improving retention, and refining the viewer experience.

Accountabilities:

As a YouTube Video Editor, you will be responsible for producing polished, engaging video content while collaborating with creative teams to deliver content that drives audience growth and engagement.

• Edit long-form YouTube videos with strong storytelling, pacing, structure, and retention-focused techniques.
• Transform interviews, educational materials, customer stories, and product-focused content into compelling narratives.
• Partner with producers and strategists to refine creative direction, story flow, tone, and overall video quality.
• Create short-form content adaptations and social media cutdowns from longer videos.
• Enhance videos through motion graphics, text animations, music, and sound design to improve clarity and viewer experience.
• Maintain efficient editing workflows, organized project files, and consistent production quality while managing multiple projects.
• Use creative feedback, performance insights, and audience data to continuously improve content effectiveness.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has professional video editing experience, strong creative instincts, and the ability to create engaging digital content optimized for YouTube audiences.

• 3–5+ years of professional video editing experience with a strong portfolio of YouTube-focused work.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and Frame.io.
• Strong understanding of YouTube storytelling principles, audience retention, pacing, and engagement strategies.
• Experience editing educational, creator, business, SaaS, technology, or brand-focused content.
• Ability to transform complex ideas into clear, entertaining, and visually engaging stories.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with producers, strategists, and creative partners.
• Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and feedback cycles.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects, motion graphics, YouTube analytics, or performance-driven editing is a plus.
