What You’ll Do

• Drive Operations: Oversee production, packaging, warehousing, and maintenance to ensure seamless, efficient workflows.

• Champion Quality & Safety: Maintain high food-safety standards (HACCP, GMP, OSHA) and ensure flawless regulatory and customer compliance.

• Optimize Performance: Leverage Lean manufacturing and KPIs to minimize waste, manage inventory, and boost profitability.

• Lead & Mentor: Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing team in a positive, safety-first environment.

• Strategic Growth: Own the plant budget and collaborate with senior leadership on future growth strategies.

What You Bring

• Proven management experience in a food/beverage processing or manufacturing environment.

• Deep knowledge of FDA, USDA, and SQF/ISO regulations.

• A solutions-oriented mindset—ready to rapidly tackle equipment or supply chain hurdles.

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operations Leadership: Oversee production, packaging, warehousing, and maintenance to ensure smooth workflow and meet targets.

• Safety & Compliance: Enforce rigorous food safety (HACCP, GMPs) and occupational health (OSHA) standards to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Quality Control: Maintain high product quality, oversee sanitation, and ensure adherence to customer specifications.

• Performance & Efficiency: Analyze KPIs, reduce waste, manage inventory, and implement lean manufacturing to improve cost-efficiency.

• Personnel Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule staff while fostering a positive work environment.

• Budget & Strategy: Manage operating budgets and report performance metrics to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Management experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.

• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with sanitation, quality systems (SQF, ISO), and production machinery.

• Skills: leadership, communication, problem-solving, and computer proficiency.
