Chief Executive Officer (CEO) About the Company Esteemed foundation providing college scholarships to local students Industry Fund-Raising Type Non Profit Founded 1962 Employees 11-50 Specialties financial aid advising and scholarship fund management About the Role The Company is seeking a President and CEO to lead its philanthropic efforts in creating educational opportunities and transforming lives. The successful candidate will be the primary champion for educational equity, serving as a highly visible leader and working in close partnership with the Board of Directors. This role involves overseeing a dedicated professional team, leading fund development efforts, and serving as a public advocate for the organization's mission. The President and CEO will also be responsible for engaging and inspiring a diverse range of stakeholders, including donors, businesses, elected officials, and community-based organizations, and will be expected to have a proven track record in fundraising and diversifying funding sources. Candidates for the President and CEO position should have a bachelor's degree (advanced degree desirable) and a minimum of 7-10 years' of senior leadership and management experience, preferably in the nonprofit or higher education sector. The role requires a visionary leader with the ability to scale the organization's impact, particularly in underserved regions, and a strong background in strategic planning, program development, and financial management. The ideal candidate will have superb people skills, excellent public speaking, and storytelling abilities, and a demonstrated success in driving organizational growth. A solid understanding of fiscal management, including experience with endowments, is also preferred.
