Repair Technician Duties & Responsibilities:

·        Maintenance and Repair: Disassemble, clean, repair and rebuild electric motors, pumps and blowers.  Replace worn or damaged parts such as mechanical seals, bearings, impellers and motors

·        Make shafts with keys

·        Ability to diagnose and repair electric motors, pumps and blowers

·        Machine and fabricate parts required for assigned repair tasks

·        Knowledge of and utilize tools required to perform repairs and rebuild of electric motors, pumps and blowers

·        Maintain high quality on all assigned repair jobs

·        Maintain accurate records of repairs and service performed

·        Adhere to the rules, regulations and guidelines of the shop

·        Keep the workplace safe, clean, and tidy, and perform daily inspections of the shop

·        Work as mentor/trainer for other repair shop technicians

Repair Technician-Level 2 Requirements:

·        High school diploma/GED

·        Minimum 2-years experienced in HVAC and pumps (Preferred)

·        Strong diagnostics abilities and mechanical aptitude

·        Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

·        Ability to machine and fabricate parts

·        Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·        Ability to work independently and able to work in a team environment
