#2 Operator in Press - 1st shift

About the Role #2 Operator in Press – 1st shift. You will work as a Mid‑Level Operator on the Core Print Solutions team, operating offset and digital web presses. Upon 90 days in the role you are eligible for a $2,500 signing bonus. Hours and Location Eagan, Minnesota – 1st shift, 6:30am – 2:30pm. Occasional overtime up to 4hours per day and occasional weekend shifts. Responsibilities Review job specifications for material and set‑up requirements. Perform or delegate set‑up tasks. Monitor equipment and product during job run to ensure a high‑quality product. Perform moderately complex troubleshooting related to product or equipment. Communicate effectively during shift and at shift hand‑off. Evaluate mechanical condition of equipment, complete preventive maintenance, involving Maintenance as needed. Use computer‑based workflow applications to manage files. Accurately document activities on Tier Boards and in relevant systems (MII, SAP). Mark, verify, and tag loads correctly to ensure inventory accuracy. Provide work direction to others in the workstream. Participate in company safety programs and contribute to a safe culture. Perform training as needed. Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards using standard work procedures. Implement housekeeping procedures to maintain work area and equipment. Participate in project teams as needed. Recommend and implement process improvements. Fill in for other Operators covering absences or breaks. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or higher. Vocational/technical degree strongly preferred. Experience leading and training others. Experience working in an industrial setting with a wide range of production machinery. Strong mechanical and technical skills, ability to troubleshoot and work independently and as part of a team. Solid understanding of Lean concepts and continuous improvement. Competence with rulers and measurement. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and production orders. Can regularly lift at least 5lbs. above the shoulder and push, pull, lift up to 10–50lbs. Regularly standing, walking, crouching, bending, reaching, kneeling. Compensation and Benefits Base hourly range: $21 – $39 (US locations). 2nd shift differential $4.00 per hour, 3rd shift differential $5.00 per hour, and a bonus plan. Eligible for an annual bonus based on performance.
