Oncology Registered Nurse Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology to join a high-quality hospital unit. The role involves delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced oncology and surgical environment, supporting the hospital's mission of positive impact and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology and surgical patients on the designated unit.
• Administer treatments including chemotherapy, pelvic exams, and thoracentesis as required.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, including RNs, CNAs, and medical staff.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and documentation protocols using Cerner EMR.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and assist with procedures to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current practicing credentials.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a hospital setting.
• BLS certification required; chemo certification preferred.
• Willingness to float to other medical-surgical units when necessary.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
