Work Environment This onsite role is situated in our fully equipped rehabilitation facility, where our team collaborates to enhance patient outcomes. You will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule. Our modern outpatient orthopedic clinic is designed for quality interaction, featuring private treatment rooms and open spaces conducive to teamwork. We encourage autonomy in the role while providing support from skilled professionals and administrative staff. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to assess their functional capabilities and specific rehabilitation needs. Design individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and are tailored to meet each patient's specific goals. Apply a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional training to expedite recovery processes. Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Educate patients and their families regarding their conditions, injury prevention strategies, and long-term health maintenance techniques. Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document assessments, treatment plans, and patient progress effectively and efficiently. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to provide integrated care for patients. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic pain conditions. Our clientele includes individuals of all ages, from athletes looking to return to sports to older adults seeking rehabilitation after surgery. You will employ customized approaches that emphasize mobility, strength, and endurance tailored to the unique needs of each patient. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred. A valid Nevada Physical Therapy license, or the ability to obtain one, is essential for practice. At least 2 years of relevant experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is required. A commitment to patient-centered care principles and passion for enhancing patient health and well-being. Preferred Experience Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is valued, but we welcome applications from new graduates if they demonstrate a strong foundation in physical therapy principles. Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation techniques and methodologies is advantageous. Skills in building rapport with patients and their families while promoting effective communication. Compensation and Benefits Our compensation package includes a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 95,000 to 110,000, reflective of your experience and expertise in the field.
