Production Technician

Powder Production TechnicianResponsible for all aspects of powder production, including operation of furnaces, powder processing, maintenance of equipment, and maintenance of plant. Technicians must be responsible and dependable and able to work entire shifts without supervision when required. The Technician needs to be available for all shifts and be willing to cover other shifts when necessary. Good mechanical and problem-solving skills are desirable.ResponsibilitiesOperation and maintenance of crystal growth furnaces.Preparation of parts and supplies for crystal growth furnaces.Sample preparation of crystals for Quality Control.Powder Processing through production and QC.Facility and water system maintenance.Assistance with processing or cutting as required.QualificationsTechnical degree or trade experience preferred but not required.Excellent mechanical skills.Basic computer skills.All external hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check.Fortive's essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
