Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) Unit Highlights Location: Las Colinas, TX Unit: Labor & Delivery Number of Beds: 12 Patient Ratios: 2:1 Shift Details Assignment Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Weekend Requirements: 4 weekend shifts per month Qualifications Required Skills: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery ACLS Certification BLS Certification NRP Certification FM Certification AWHONN Certification Preferred Skills: RNC Certification Meditech Experience Licensure Active Texas RN License is required. Temporary licenses will not be accepted. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include circulating during C-sections and providing high-quality care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit. Documentation and Policies Documentation System: Meditech Floating Policy: As needed Dress Code Facility will provide scrubs. Nail Policy: Clean and Healthy. Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Tattoos should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited. Additional Information There is 1 unit tech available each shift and 1 unit secretary on day shift.
