As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll help design and deliver complex electrical systems for commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, and transportation projects throughout Florida.In this role, you’ll apply your technical expertise to develop electrical designs, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support successful project delivery for our clients. You’ll work directly with clients, owners, and contractors to establish project requirements, develop innovative solutions, and produce high-quality construction documents that drive project success.What you'll doDesign electrical systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projectsPerform lighting design and associated controls calculationsPrepare electrical load analyses throughout various stages of designDevelop construction drawings and technical documentationPrepare basis of design reportsComplete energy compliance calculations and supporting documentationSelect electrical equipment and fixtures based on project requirementsCoordinate designs with architects and multidisciplinary engineering teamsEngage directly with clients, owners, and contractors to establish design requirementsSupport proposal, business development, and project delivery efforts as neededContribute to the successful execution of projects from concept through constructionWhat will help you succeedStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teamsClient-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellenceStrong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesAbility to manage priorities across multiple projects and deadlinesAttention to detail and commitment to qualityAdaptability in a dynamic project environment Here's what you'll need Bachelor of Science degree in EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) license in FloridaDemonstrated professional design experience with electrical systems for vertical building projects in FloridaSolid knowledge and application of NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NFPA 72, NFPA 101, NFPA 110, applicable building codes, energy codes, IEEE standards, ASHRAE standards, and related industry requirementsIdeally, you'll also haveExtensive experience performing short circuit coordination studies and arc flash analyses using SKM or EasyPowerWorking knowledge of MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM softwareExperience designing telecommunications systems, fire alarm systems, or security systems#LI-KD1Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
