New Day My Way, LLC has recently opened a day program in Trumbull County (Howland). We are currently seeking caring candidates for the position of Day Program Staff/Van Driver. This position would work under the direct supervision of the Day Program Director
Minimum Requirements for Day Program Staff/Van Driver
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid Ohio Driver's License
- Valid Auto Insurance
- Must pass all background checks
- High School Diploma or GED
- Driving record with less than 6 points
Day Program Staff Essential Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Provide supervision of clients while at the program and on outings
- Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures.
- Participate in all Day Program Activities per Day Program Director
Qualifications for Day Program Staff /Van Driver:
- Previous day program experience
- Previous experience working with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Ability to work between the hours of 8am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
- Will be required to obtain first aid and CPR certification
- Physically able to lift and potentially carry up to 50lbs, frequently bend, squat, twist and stretch while loading and unloading passengers from vehicles and assisting individuals at the day program.
- Ability to work in an environment where you will be exposed to behaviors and required to physically assistance with client’s personal hygiene needs.
