Equiliem is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Somerville, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract Responsibilities Provide labor and delivery care for 32 weeks and above Assist with high‑risk deliveries and recover C‑sections Perform sterile vaginal exams and triage obstetrical patients Monitor patient ratios: 1:2 Support OB triage, antepartum, and delivery care in a 12‑bed, 11‑room unit Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with nursing license Minimum 2 years of labor experience Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate AWHONN, and FHM Current knowledge of EPIC charting system Shift & Scheduling 12‑hour night shift, 36 hours per week On‑call requirement: 24 hours every 4 weeks Weekend requirement: every third weekend No block scheduling Travelers may float to OR and PACU; locals are accepted Other Requirements Must be available for 13‑week contract beginning 07/21/2026 Eligible to work in New Jersey; secure valid parking (free, unrestricted) Equipment: Novii technology, scrub color provided Equiliem is an equal opportunity employer.
