You'll navigate complex legal challenges, negotiate high-impact commercial agreements, and drive meaningful process improvements while working alongside a collaborative legal team that values diverse perspectives and experiences.Key job responsibilities- Provide strategic legal counsel to AWS Marketing and Communications teams on a range of complex legal matters, including regulatory compliance, contractual obligations, and risk mitigation- Negotiate and draft commercial agreements that protect AWS's interests while fostering strong business relationships- Analyze novel legal issues and develop thoughtful solutions in ambiguous situations- Collaborate with colleagues across the legal department and other business teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive legal support- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the legal functionA day in the lifeAs Corporate Counsel supporting AWS Marketing and Communications, you'll engage with multifaceted legal matters that span compliance, commercial negotiations, and strategic counsel. Your day might include reviewing marketing campaigns for regulatory compliance, negotiating vendor agreements with external partners, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address emerging legal questions, and identifying opportunities to streamline our legal processes. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
