Customer Service Representative

This Customer Service Representative role is being offered as Part-Time.

What You'll Do

• Represent the company professionally and courteously in all interactions with clients and patients.
• Route telephone calls to the appropriate department or individual.
• Establish and maintain client records.
• Communicate with billing department to ensure proper billing to insurance companies, contracts, other third party payers and client/patients for all products and services delivered; maintain accurate billing records.
• Communicate client information necessary to schedule home medical equipment services.
• Determine correct resolution to client complaints; take corrective action, and monitor results.
• Prepare and secure Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMNs).

What You'll Need

• One year of experience in Home Medical (HME) Customer Service preferred.
• Insurance reimbursement knowledge and health insurance billing experience preferred.
• Effective interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills in speaking and writing.
• Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.
• Ability to recognize and direct information to the appropriate health care provider.
• Computer skills that include word processing and efficient use of the internet and e-mail.
