Actalent is currently hiring for a design civil engineer for a top firm in Long Island

Description

- Lead and support land development, residential, and site civil design projects from concept through construction.

- Prepare design plans including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater systems, and erosion & sediment control.

- Perform stormwater management analysis and design, including hydrologic/hydraulic modeling in compliance with NYSDEC and NYCDEP standards.

- Develop erosion and sedimentation control plans, prepare permit packages, and coordinate with regulatory agencies.

- Produce detailed engineering drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

- Conduct site visits, field assessments, and collaborate with contractors, architects, and project stakeholders.

- Assist in preparing engineering reports, technical analyses, specifications, and cost estimates.

- Ensure design compliance with NY State and NYC regulations, codes, and permitting requirements.

Schedule:

8:30am-5:30pm Monday- Friday

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Civil Engineering

2+ Years Experience

AutoCAD, MicrosoftOffice

EIT

This is a Permanent position based out of Holtsville, NY.

The pay range for this position is $53.00 - $68.00/hr.
