Senior Construction Manager/Operations Lead

iWorld Professionals is seeking a full-time Construction Manager/Operations Leader for our client, a growing construction company with an office in Baltimore, Maryland. This is an on-site position in Baltimore, MD.

Construction Manager/ Operations Leader Overview:

The Construction Project Manager will lead commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, and coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.

Construction Manager/ Operations Leader Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed project takeoffs and estimates independently
\n
• Manage the full project bidding process
\n
• Review drawings, specifications, and addenda to develop accurate scopes and budgets
\n
• Develop, manage, and maintain project budgets and cost controls
\n
• Process and track change events and change orders
\n
• Review and process vendor and subcontractor invoices
\n
• Assist with the preparation and administration of prime contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
\n
• Review contract documents and identify potential risks or red flags
\n
• Maintain project schedules and monitor progress
\n
• Schedule, lead, and attend project meetings with owners, general contractors, and internal teams
\n
• Manage RFI and submittal processes, including maintaining accurate logs
\n
• Maintain strong communication with field personnel and stakeholders
\n
• Manage punch list activities and closeout documentation, including as-builts
\n
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and partners
\n

Construction Manager/ Operations Leader Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of project management experience in the construction industry
\n
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
\n
• Working knowledge of RFIs, submittals, scheduling, budgeting, and cost controls
\n
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and decision-making skills
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
\n
• Self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of responsibilities
\n
