About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development to play a pivotal role as a strategic advisor and execution partner, particularly in support of the Office of the CEO. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, evaluating corporate development opportunities, and shaping long-term business strategy in close collaboration with executive leadership. This highly visible position demands a strategic leader with a background in corporate strategy, corporate development, management consulting, or investment banking, and a passion for solving complex business challenges and influencing executive decision-making. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development include leading the execution of strategic initiatives, partnering with senior executives to prioritize and synthesize business issues, and preparing data-driven, strategic, and actionable materials for executive and board meetings. The role also involves evaluating and leading strategic analyses for acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate development opportunities, as well as driving strategic planning efforts and ensuring alignment across business units. The ideal candidate will have a senior-level experience in a relevant field, outstanding strategic thinking, strong financial and analytical capabilities, and a deep understanding of the commercial property and casualty insurance industry or the ability to quickly develop expertise in a similarly complex industry. Executive communication, the ability to influence senior stakeholders, and a high degree of professionalism are essential, with a preference for candidates holding an MBA or advanced business degree.
