Overview Role: Staff Nurse in Ortho/Trauma MedSurg unit, providing comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using nursing processes. Coordinate care activities, adhere to organizational policies, and maintain professional standards of practice. Ensure quality nursing care and demonstrate professional growth and accountability. Qualifications and Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state; current BCLS certification. New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred. Additional certifications relevant to specialty areas (e.g., ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy) may be required. Strong communication, clinical, and critical thinking skills.
