The ideal candidate is technically curious, service-oriented, and eager to continue growing their networking and systems expertise.This position reports directly to company leadership and offers significant opportunities for learning, mentorship, and professional development.Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Support & AdministrationConfigure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot: Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Wireless access points, Network infrastructure componentsSupport both remote and on-site customer environmentsAssist with implementation and maintenance of LAN/WAN and TCP/IP network environmentsDiagnose network issues and implement corrective actions to restore functionality and optimize performanceSupport VPN, DNS, DHCP, and network monitoring solutionsInfrastructure & SecurityAssist with firewall administration and security best practicesMonitor network performance and alerts to proactively identify issuesSupport information security initiatives and network protection measuresParticipate in infrastructure upgrades, deployments, and client projectsCustomer Support & DocumentationDeliver exceptional customer service while supporting client technical needsCommunicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical usersMaintain accurate documentation for customer environments, service work, and completed tasksCollaborate with team members to ensure timely issue resolution and project completionPreferred Technical ExperienceExperience or exposure in the following areas is highly desirable:Networking & InfrastructureCisco and/or Juniper switching environmentsSophos, SonicWall, and/or Juniper firewallsWireless networking and Wi-Fi deploymentsRouting protocols such as: BGP, OSPFNetwork topology and infrastructure conceptsAdditional Preferred SkillsNetwork monitoring and alerting toolsVOIP systems and solutionsNetwork design conceptsCybersecurity best practices and security awareness
