Overview

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to CCU patients, including ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate critical care nursing care; collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
- Monitor patient status, interpret hemodynamic data, and adjust therapies per orders; respond to changes promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol; document findings accurately in the charting system.
- Ensure safe patient movement, assist with procedures, and support handoffs between shifts; may serve as charge nurse as needed.
- Provide patient and family education and support to enhance understanding of care plans.

Requirements
- Massachusetts RN license in hand (conditional licenses accepted)
- 2 years CCU/ICU critical care experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Clinical experience: ventilator management, ICP monitoring, hemodynamic monitoring
- Ability to work in a CCU environment and to cover a 12.5-hour day shift
- Within a reasonable travel radius of Pittsfield, MA (local radius noted in assignment details)
- COVID-19 vaccination with booster required (no exemptions); flu vaccination status as applicable
