Role Description The Loan Officer Assistant is a full-time, hybrid role based in White Plains, NY, with some work-from-home flexibility. This position supports Loan Officers in managing the loan pipeline, gathering and organizing borrower documentation, and preparing files for underwriting review. Daily responsibilities include communicating with borrowers, real estate agents, and internal team members to ensure accurate information, timely follow-up, and a smooth loan process. The assistant helps with data entry, updating loan systems, tracking conditions, and maintaining compliance with company and industry standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, consistent customer service, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced mortgage environment. Qualifications Experience supporting Loan Officers and familiarity with their responsibilities in the mortgage process. Knowledge of the Mortgage Industry, including common loan products and basic lending guidelines. Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and client satisfaction. Understanding of basic Underwriting requirements and ability to collect and organize required documentation. Clear, professional Communication skills, both verbal and written, for working with borrowers and internal teams. Proficiency with mortgage software systems, general computer skills, and accurate data entry. High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines. Prior experience in mortgage, banking, or financial services preferred; high school diploma required, associate or bachelor’s degree a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
