Job Opportunity – X-Ray Technologist – Portland, OR 97225

Start Date: July 6, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM (4x10-hour shifts). Three call shifts per month required. No weekend coverage required. Block scheduling format with 40 hours of orientation.

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment at a 536-bed short term acute care teaching hospital
• Daily census of approximately 475 patients with 280 visits per day
• Epic charting system with PACS integration
• Diverse patient population including all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Comprehensive radiology services including portable, OR/C-arm, and fluoroscopy procedures
• No parking fees; scrubs in any color acceptable

Requirements:

• Active Oregon state license (may be submitted pending)
• ARRT (R) certification and BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy permit required
• Minimum 1 year of X-ray technologist experience
• Required competencies: extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal imaging, and surgical/C-arm procedures
• Epic experience preferred; community hospital experience preferred
• Experience with neonatal and infant imaging strongly preferred
• Must have reliable personal vehicle for this assignment
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility
