Claims Specialist

About the Organization Airrosti is a national healthcare group dedicated to eliminating pain and resolving soft tissue injuries quickly and effectively, both in‑clinic and virtually through our Airrosti Remote Recovery (ARR) platform. To date, Airrosti Providers have successfully treated over 1.7 million injuries. Our care model is centered on evidence‑based, individualized treatment designed to identify and address the root cause of pain. Each patient visit includes up to a full hour of one‑on‑one care, allowing Providers the time to thoroughly assess the injury, perform targeted manual therapy, and develop personalized active care plans and home exercise programs to support lasting recovery. On average, most injuries are resolved within just 3‑4 visits (based on patient‑reported outcomes), resulting in high patient satisfaction and exceptional outcomes. Headquartered in San Antonio, TX, Airrosti operates more than 150 clinic locations across Texas, Ohio, Virginia, and Washington. Through ARR, we deliver virtual care to patients in all 50 states. In addition, FLEX Powered by Airrosti, is our digital wellness program that puts the power of muscle and joint health into users’ hands. Position Claims Specialist Location San Antonio, TX Employment Type Full‑Time, Non‑Exempt Description Position is located at Airrosti Headquarters in San Antonio, TX (111 Tower Drive, Building 1, San Antonio, TX 78232). We are looking for Claims Specialists who will help Airrosti accomplish its mission of positively impacting the lives of our patients by ensuring our carriers and employers are compliant with existing contracts and reimbursement rates. Claims Specialists are members of the Accounting Team under the direction of Billing leadership. Responsibilities Follow up on aging claims. Appeal denied or underpaid claims. Maintain insurance correspondence. Support patient‑facing teams with benefits and claim inquiries. Correct any errors on outgoing claims to ensure timeliness of claim submissions. Monitor and respond to email received through the Team inbox. Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned. Benefits and Perks Fun, supportive team environment. Casual work attire. Great benefit package. Opportunities for advancement. Requirements 1‑2 years billing experience or similar experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills. Demonstrate the ability to embrace change and be flexible. Detail oriented while juggling multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to prioritize and focus on the appropriate task at hand to ensure every task is followed and 100% completed. Works well in a team dynamic as well as independently. Attend paid, mandatory in‑office 4‑week training period, Monday‑Friday from 7:30 AM‑4:30 PM. Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week). In‑office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; Remote Monday and Friday. Compensation & Benefits $19.00 – $22.00 per hour. Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance. HSA/FSA Options.
