Position Summary Lead the logistics and operations function for a defined area, driving performance, safety, and quality to meet business goals. What You’ll Do Communicate verbally and in writing with customers, suppliers, and associates. Drive and implement the business plan for your area to achieve facility goals, including production, quality, and safety, and to introduce operational improvements. Forecast staffing and workload to meet demands. Prepare, review, and analyze business reports to identify opportunities for improvement. Monitor compliance with logistics and company standards, policies, and procedures, and develop or maintain supporting documentation. Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using judgment or by consulting others. Supervise and manage associates and leaders, providing direction, monitoring performance, giving feedback, and creating development opportunities. Teach, support, and model company policies, participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation. Build high‑performing teams, embrace diversity, and cultivate an inclusive workplace. Act with integrity, uphold ethics, and support Walmart’s regenerative initiatives. Serve customers and members by delivering results, applying business models, and balancing short‑ and long‑term priorities. Drive continuous improvement, adopt new technologies, and support others through change. Stock options may also be available. Salary Range $84,000.00 – $126,000.00 per year, with additional performance bonuses. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and at least one year of experience in an operations, distribution, logistics, or retail environment—managing staff, workload, hiring, and promotion. Alternatively, one year of experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager or three years of broader supervisory experience in the sector may qualify. All candidates must attend and successfully complete required job‑training and assessments.
