Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist I (Manheim)

Job Summary Company: Cox Automotive. Location: specified Cox location. Position: Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist. Compensation: $15.10–$22.69 hourly. Benefits: minimum of sixteen hours paid time off each month, seven paid holidays, and additional leave for bereavement, jury duty, military and parental leave. Job Responsibilities Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 handheld device using the Secure Check‑in App. Record VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage, color, and options. Affix barcode/stock number stickers and place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry. Flag “no key” cars and direct transporters to the proper car drop zone. Report transport damage as needed. Provide proper sale identification windshield code to the person driving the vehicle through the registration/check‑in area. Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling related behaviors. Work in cooperation with safety leadership to support all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. Assist on sale days by driving vehicles through auction sales lanes as assigned. Perform other duties as directed by manager or supervisor. May be required to work overtime (over 40 hours) as business needs dictate. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Less than 2 years of experience in a related field. Valid driver's license and safe driving record; ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions. Basic computer skills. Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear regularly; frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb. Ability to lift 1–15 pounds. Vision sufficient for close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Preferred: 1–3 years of auction and/or vehicle registration experience. Physical & Work Environment Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Moderate noise level. Drug Testing Drug test required. The position does not include marijuana testing; however, the workplace is drug‑free.
