What You'll Bring:

• Direct experience working with students with severe disabilities
• Familiarity with individualized behavior plans
• Comfort supporting medically fragile students
• Understanding or previous use of adaptive equipment (Hoyer lift experience is a plus, but not required)
• A caring, patient attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators and specialists
• Commitment to upholding safety, dignity, and respect for all students

Your Primary Contributions:

• Provide direct classroom and personal care support under the guidance of certified teachers and therapy staff
• Assist students with daily living skills and mobility
• Implement behavior plans and modify strategies in real-time
• Ensure individualized support during instruction, therapy, and transition periods
• Uphold a safe, positive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and inclusion
• Communicate observations and progress to educators, nurses, and families as appropriate
• Adapt to dynamic needs and respond promptly and appropriately during medical or behavioral events
