Certification Engineer I

The HBT Regulatory Team has an immediate opportunity for a Certification Engineer within our Global Regulatory Team. The preferred candidate will be highly motivated with demonstrated initiative, and is willing to learn and understanding of product compliance methodologies within a regulated global environmentJob Responsibilities:Interpret regulatory standards and advise engineering teams so they meet product requirementsPrepare test plans, setup systems, coordinate testing and obtain approval results with agencies Perform software & hardware testing to identify performance gaps & improvement opportunitiesAnalyze task risks, deadlines & priorities to help management derive realistic project schedulesUtilize quality control procedures and approval guides to perform responsible test executionsDevelop standard work, implement best practices and train engineering team membersMaintain product & equipment compliance to latest changes from UL/ULC, EN, ISO, FM and other global standardsResolve manufacturing audit concerns by providing accurate & complete information Utilize resources and optimize strategies for fastest way to execute projectsIdentify test failure root causes and work with engineers on corrective action to resolve failuresHoneywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
