Bookkeeper (Interim) | Davenport, IA | Approximately 30 hours/week 

About the Opportunity

We are supporting a well-established Quad Cities nonprofit organization to provide accounting support during a period of organizational transition. This individual will play a key role in maintaining day-to-day financial operations while leadership evaluates the future structure of its accounting function.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and weekly vendor payments
• Manage accounts receivable activities 
• Process bi-weekly payroll 
• Prepare payroll reporting and related documentation
• Support retirement plan administration and employee paperwork 
• Make daily deposits and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with general accounting and administrative functions as needed

What We're Looking For

• Previous bookkeeping experience with strong AP, AR, and payroll knowledge
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a close-knit team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, detail-oriented approach to work
• Comfortable navigating change and supporting a growing organization through transition
• Experience with nonprofit accounting is a plus, but not required
