Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position focuses on delivering direct therapy, working in close partnership with fellow specialists to ensure comprehensive support across a dynamic caseload.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Texas SLP license
• Demonstrate fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) or possess a DHHT (Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teacher) certification
• Experience in school-based settings or with Deaf/Hard of Hearing student populations strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and therapy documentation
• Commitment to cultural and linguistic sensitivity
• Able to complete time-sensitive fingerprinting requirements via TEA for start clearance

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students in the DHH program
• Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and collaborative service delivery
• Tailor intervention to individual student needs, considering language and communication preferences
• Liaise with instructional staff, families, and other service providers
• Assist with ongoing progress monitoring and maintain thorough documentation
• Contribute to an inclusive, communication-rich school environment
