Travel Stepdown Nurse (RN) - Warren, OH

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour Night Shifts
• Open to 48-hour contracts, with overtime after 48 hours

Qualifications/Preferred Experience:

• Current RN license (state or compact)
• Minimum 1 year RN experience, with at least 6 months in acute care preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke
• Ventilator experience and management of respiratory, renal, surgical, and trauma patients
• Experience with drips (Cardizem, Amio), insulin drips, and higher acuity patients
• Dysrhythmia exam completion (study guide provided)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
• Healthy commitment to ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive, ongoing patient assessments and adjust care plans as needed
• Safely administer medications and therapies
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and patient families
• Provide patient and family education and advocacy
• Respond confidently to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Float as needed to similar or lower acuity stepdown/progressive care environments
