Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position spans from October 1st, 2026, to April 15th, 2027, and is based at a single, conveniently located site near Edison, NJ. Become an integral part of a dedicated team that works directly with students aged 5 to 21, addressing a range of disabilities within a high-needs caseload.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state
• Experience in school-based OT practice, home health, or related healthcare settings desired
• Familiarity with evaluations, developing and implementing IEPs, and progress documentation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
• Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills for working with diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across a variety of disabilities
• Collaborate with educators and other professionals to integrate therapeutic interventions into classroom routines
• Participate in IEP meetings, provide progress updates, and maintain thorough records
• Contribute insights and strategies to help students maximize their independence and participation in school activities
