HumanHire is partnered with an Am Law 100 Firm to find a Senior Practice Management Specialist to join their growing team in NYC. The Senior Practice Management Specialist would be responsible for collaborating with practice group leadership to drive operational efficiency, analyze financial performance, support attorney utilization, and execute strategic business development initiatives across the firm.

Senior Practice Management Specialist Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Practice Manager to execute daily operations, manage practice budgets/expenses, and liaise across business departments (Finance, HR, Marketing, DEI) to drive process efficiencies and revenue growth
• Support Practice Managers and Practice Group Chairs in developing and executing strategic plans focused on market differentiation, profitability, and supporting client value initiatives for high-growth client teams
• Assist with lateral attorney onboarding, act as a focal point for operational problem-solving, and coordinate with Professional Development Partners to create targeted training content
• Analyze key performance indicators, timekeeper utilization trends, and monthly AR/collections data to proactively flag capacity issues and monitor overall group revenue
• Provide practice-specific data and customization for RFPs, pitches, and targeted marketing collateral while supporting client-facing initiatives such as CLE presentations

Senior Practice Management Specialist Qualifications:

• 3+ years of operational or business development experience within a law firm
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM technologies, paired with the polished communication skills necessary to interface directly with partners, firm leadership, and corporate clients
