Step into a rewarding role supporting student success as a contract-based Physical Therapist within a large and diverse educational setting near Naperville, IL. This full-time position provides the unique opportunity to deliver in-person or hybrid services across an entire district, ensuring that students receive the therapeutic support they need to thrive academically and physically throughout the coming school year.

As a valued member of the school’s allied health team, you’ll interact with a student population of approximately 14,000, offering both direct intervention and consultative guidance to teachers and families. Your expertise will also be instrumental in performing comprehensive evaluations, contributing to IEP and eligibility meetings, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary colleagues.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist with eligibility to practice in Illinois
• Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Proficiency in delivering direct PT services as well as conducting assessments and writing reports
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills for engaging with students, staff, and parents
• Comfort working independently across multiple locations within a district
• Flexibility for both in-person and hybrid service delivery as needed

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide effective physical therapy services to support students’ mobility, access, and participation in school
• Serve as a resource for adaptive strategies and equipment recommendations
• Conduct evaluations and regular progress monitoring
• Document interventions and communicate outcomes with the educational team
• Participate actively in team meetings and contribute expertise during IEP development

This full-time contract will run from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5–40 hours.
