Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant Location: Seattle, Washington Schedule: Full-time, 37.5-hour workweek; fully onsite Salary: $85,000-$126,000 DOE Employment Type: Direct Hire, Non-Exempt Job Description: LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a Seattle-based law firm to find an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a team of five or more partners and associates. The attorneys handle intellectual property, cybersecurity, data privacy, and related litigation matters across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, knowledge of federal and state court procedures, and the ability to independently manage complex workflows and competing priorities. This position requires a proactive, highly organized professional who can anticipate attorney needs, monitor deadlines, and provide responsive, detail-oriented support. Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to a team of five or more attorneys
• Manage competing priorities, workflows, deadlines, and matter-related activities
• Communicate regularly with attorneys regarding project status, outstanding items, and upcoming deadlines
• Prepare, proofread, revise, and format correspondence, pleadings, subpoenas, complaints, motions, and other litigation documents
• Format court filings in accordance with applicable rules, including generating tables of authorities and tables of contents
• Complete electronic filings in federal and state courts, with an emphasis on the Western District of Washington
• Organize exhibits, briefs, and supporting documentation for discovery, document production, trial preparation, and trial
• Record and monitor deadlines through firm docketing and attorney calendar systems
• Prepare engagement letters, open new matters, and coordinate with conflicts and new-business teams
• Assist with attorney time entry, pre-bill review, and billing-related tasks
• Coordinate meetings, conference rooms, travel arrangements, and other scheduling needs
• Process expense reimbursements accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, docketing, litigation support, and other administrative departments
• Coordinate with internal resources and support departments while maintaining ownership of follow-through and completion
• Assist with local marketing and business development initiatives as requested
• Provide coverage for other legal secretaries during planned and unplanned absences
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience supporting litigation matters in both federal and state courts
• Proficiency with federal and state electronic filing systems
• Knowledge of court rules, filing requirements, and litigation procedures
• Prior experience in a large law firm or supporting patent litigation is a plus
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, including styles, track changes, document comparison, tables of authorities, and tables of contents
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems
• Experience with time-entry, billing, expense-management, and AI productivity platforms is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, responsiveness, judgment, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and professionally under pressure while managing multiple deadlines
• Strong sense of urgency, accountability, flexibility, and resourcefulness
• Washington State Notary Public designation is a plus
• Ability to work overtime as needed
