Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in a school setting preferred
• Ability to respond swiftly and compassionately in health situations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to manage both dedicated health room duties and float nurse responsibilities
• CPR and First Aid certification required

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer first aid, prescribed medications, and treatments for students and staff
• Assess and document student health concerns, maintaining thorough and confidential records
• Respond to emergencies and communicate with parents/guardians as situations arise
• Support health education initiatives and communicate wellness information to the school community
• Serve as a resource for health-related questions and provide guidance to students and teachers
• Rotate as a float nurse to support additional student health needs throughout the building as required
