Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Medicaid Revenue Cycle & Accounts Payable Specialist on behalf of a mission-driven organization that provides essential services and support to communities throughout the region. This is an onsite, 2-month contract opportunity based in Secaucus, New Jersey, with the potential for extension. Position Overview This position offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and healthcare-related billing processes. The Medicaid Revenue Cycle & Accounts Payable Specialist will support daily financial operations while helping ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient recordkeeping. Perks Competitive compensation at $29 per hour Opportunity for contract extension based on business needs and performance Collaborative and supportive team environment with meaningful community impact Exposure to a variety of accounting, revenue cycle, and healthcare finance functions Responsibilities Process accounts payable transactions, maintain vendor records, and support timely payment activities Generate invoices, post payments, monitor account balances, and assist with collections follow-up as needed Perform account, bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy Support Medicaid billing activities, submission tracking, and documentation processes Maintain organized records, data entry, filing systems, and financial documentation Assist with audit preparation and other accounting and administrative projects Qualifications Experience supporting accounting, collections, accounts payable, accounts receivable Must have experience working in Sage Intacct and EZ Claim Strong knowledge of Medicaid billing, healthcare revenue cycle processes, or related reimbursement programs Compensation and Benefits This position offers compensation of $29 per hour for a part-time contract assignment with the potential for extension.
