Role Description

• Conduct evaluations for a diverse range of patients, from pediatric to geriatric populations, utilizing both standardized assessments and observational analyses.
• Create tailored treatment plans that focus on immediate goals as well as long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Provide individualized speech therapy, targeting communication, language development, fluency, and swallowing challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to implement holistic care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond clinical sessions.
• Attend to occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring that care remains consistent throughout the entire process.
• Maintain precise and prompt documentation that aligns with state and federal regulations as well as organizational standards.
• Commit to ongoing professional growth by staying updated with the latest advancements through continuous education and collaboration with peers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications Required

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
