Line cook

About the Role:

Rosatis Pizza in Sleepy Hollow IL is looking for a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team! If you love crafting delicious food in a fast-paced environment and take pride in every dish that goes out we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Rosatis recipes and quality standards
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before each shift
• Execute food prep tasks including chopping slicing portioning and assembling ingredients
• Maintain a clean organized and sanitary workstation throughout the shift
• Monitor food quality freshness and proper storage to minimize waste
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth efficient service during peak hours
• Follow all food safety and handling guidelines in compliance with health regulations

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a line cook prep cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety sanitation and proper food handling procedures
• Reliable punctual and able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
• Food handler certification is a plus
