We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented Catering Coordinator/Sales Administrator to join our Abigail Kirsch team in New York, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily office operations, managing a variety of administrative functions, and ensuring the smooth execution of sales-related activities. The position also provides direct administrative support to the Regional Director of Sales, helping to drive organizational efficiency and the overall success of the sales team.

Location: New York, NY

Schedule: Monday – Friday 9am-5:30pm

What you'll be doing:

• Proposal generation in catering software
• Inquiry logging
• Bookings report
• Pace report
• A/R report
• Print BEOs via report
• Divvy receipt logging
• Party rental payment logging
• Sales + operations support – menu signs, menu cards, proposals, menu lookbooks, printing, party folders
• Check deposits
• Office supply orders
• Work with third party vendors for various event needs
• Assist event managers in responding to both client and internal stakeholders' questions including logistics, rental equipment and party production
• Assist event managers in planning, coordinating and executing events when needed
• Perform and complete all reasonable assignments as requested by management

Qualifications + Skills:

• Ability to communicate work related information to co-workers, supervisors, vendors, and clients. This includes written and verbal communication.
• Excellent computer skills necessary, including spreadsheets, Microsoft Office Suite, Canva
• Must be able stay organized, and keep others organized, including scheduling meetings and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must have strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy on all assignments
• Able to work a flexible work schedule, with the ability to work in an environment with competing priorities
• Prior administrative or event experience

Compensation Range $31-$33 an hour.
